The Human Continuum

I didn’t write this. It is part of a conversation I had with the cousin of someone I am praying for who was shot at The Pulse in Orlando. I’ve posted it here with permission because people need to READ this:

Only the human mind invents categories, have to put things on and in little boxes and call it good, and tries to force facts into separated tiny little pigeon-holes.

The living world is a continuum in each and every one of its aspects. The sooner we learn this concerning sexual behavior, and human behavior, the sooner we shall reach a sound understanding of the realities of sex. What people do in their own homes is their business, and you can choose to love whoever you love. The fact that SOME Americans consider it a disease says more about them than it does about homosexuality.

A line can be straight, or a street, but the human heart, oh, no, it’s curved like a road through mountains. My own belief is that there is hardly anyone whose sexual life, if it were broadcast, would not fill the world at large with surprise and horror. Some are too straight for their own good, others well lets say they are beyond the NORMAL realm of sexuality.. I’m a supporter of gay rights. And not a closet supporter either.

From the time I was a kid, I have never been able to understand attacks upon the gay community.. And I do not condone them.. EVER.. I have many friends that are Transgender, as well as gay.. I love each and every one of you and call you friend…. You are human, and because of that we are all related.. not a sub species of human, but human.

The 6 billion human beings who today inhabit the earth are very different from one another. However, despite these differences, there are no biological barriers between them.

All the men and women of the world could have children together and their children, in turn, could have their own children. We all belong to the same, single, biological community — the human species. Physical diversity is everywhere infinite. All human populations posses practically the same genetic variants, but the proportions vary from one population to another.

why can’t we all just get along… I just do not understand it.. end of rant…

Thank you to the author, Kim White Feather of Center Ossipee, New Hampshire. Your heart is clear and true. May your words bring clarity to every heart they touch.
